G.V. Egorov, V.I.Tonyuk, N.N.Kalugina and V.A.Cherniy are the authors.

Experience of design and operation of dry-cargo coasters of 003RSD04 "Caspian Express" type and their modifications are described. There is shown successfulness of some design decisions concerning arrangement of ballast tanks and big "box-shape" hold. Comparative analysis of technician-operational characteristics of 003RSD04 vessel and her close prototypes are carried out.

7. Investigation of arctic class railway-car-passenger ferry for Vanino-Kholmsk line
G.V. Egorov and I.A.Ilnitskiy are the authors.

Analysis of work of Vanino-Kholmsk ferry line is carried out; necessity of replacement of existing ferry-boats are illustrated. Design of modern Arctic-class ferry-boat intended for independent work at the line Vanino-Kholmsk was created. Her characteristics significantly exceed same ones for existing "Sakhalin' type ferry boat. Specific characteristics of new ferry-boats work are describe and justified.

8. Dry-cargo barges of "Europe-2B" type of 1635OU, 1635OMDL, 1635OMDL-S, RDB06 and RDB11 design for operation in Danube-Main-Rhine water system
G.V. Egorov and O.G. Egorova are the authors.

The history of creation of "Europe-2B" type vessels is considered. Their overall dimensions are maximally close to the way restrictions of the "Danube - Main - Rhine" system. Comparative analysis has shown a significant superiority of the barges' hulls with the longitudinal framing system over the barges' hulls with traditional transverse system. A set of structural measures to improve strength and reliability of barges' hull, that effect positively on indicators of economic efficiency, is suggested.

9. Design of river and river-sea integrated vessels and tug-barge convoys based on risk analysis
A.G. Egorov is the author.

Risk analysis of operation of existing fleet of river and river-sea tug-barge trains and integrated vessels is carried out. Basic dangers and problems concerning with hull, gears, machines and mechanisms of such type vessels are exposed. Set of results are elaborated on the base of analysis, e.g.: design recommendations; optimal schemes for tug-barge trains and integrated vessels that consider trivial and functional restrictions.

10. Mathematical model of definition of main characteristics of river-sea integrated vessel consisted of self-propelled vessel-pusher and barge
A.G. Egorov is the author.

Specifics of definition of main characteristics of river-sea tug-barge combinations and integrated vessels are offered. Block-diagram is built. Up-to-date data concerning analysis of prototype vessels is given. Schemes for definition of light weight and still water resistance are offered. Available variant of technical-economic grounding is worked out; it considers specifics of work process of tug-barge trains and integrated vessels.
