Launching of the second in the series multipurpose dry-cargo vessel "Palmali Voyager" (006RSD05 prj.) for Palmali group
On August, 21, 2004 launching ceremony for the second in the series river-sea going multipurpose dry-cargo motorship "Palmali Voyager" with deadweight of 6970 tons (006RSD05 prj.) was carried out at Volgograd shipyard.
The series of six vessels is being built for Palmali group.
Vessel's project is designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau (MEB).
Vessel's keel was laid down on 16.01.04. She was launched on 21.08.04.
This vessel is the biggest among Russian river-sea going dry-cargo vessels which is assigned for transportation of general, bulk, timber, grain and large-sized cargoes, ISO containers, dangerous goods. Total cargo holds capacity is of 11400 cub. m. Sea deadweight is of 6970 tons, deadweight is of 4580 tons with river draught of 3.60 m.b
