Bulk-carrier "Pomorye" of BC14 prj. was put into operation at Chinese shipyard

On July 30, 2007 at "Cxengxi Shipyard" (Jian Yyin city of Jiangsu province in China) second vessel with unrestricted sailing region for Murmansk sea shipping company was put into operation. This vessel of BC14 prj. transports bulk cargoes. Her deadweight is about 23700 tons with LU4 ice class.
 
Vessel's name is "Pomorye". She was registered at Russian International Ship Register (Russian flag).
 
Building number is of CX4226.
 
Vessel's overall length is of 180.5 m, breadth is of 22.86 m, depth is of 7.15 m, draught (summer free board) is of 9.91 m.
 
Project BC14 is designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau (MEB) and Chinese ship design institute.
 
Vessel has 7 holds, double bottom and double sides. She is assigned for transportation of bulk, unliquefy ore concentrate, grain, general cargoes, 8'.5 and 9' ISO containers, dangerous goods of 1,1.4S, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 classes of IMDG Code and cargoes of category B of BC Code.
