The fourth product tanker "Armada Navigator" type was launched for Palmali group
On August, 30, 2004 at "ADA" shipyard (Tuzla, Turkey) the fourth product tanker "Armada Navigator" of "Armada Leader" type (005RST01 prj.) was launched for Palmali group. Vessel's deadweight is of 6440 tons. Vessel's Russian Maritime Register of Shipping class notation is of KM  LU1  II A1.
Vessel's project is designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau (MEB).
The vessel is the first tanker of "Armada" type, which was built at "ADA" shipyard. "ADA" shipyard was purchased and reconstructed by Palmali group. Earlier same series vessels were built at "SELAH" shipyard.
As first three vessels, "Armada Navigator" is assigned for river-sea going transportations of crude oil, masout, diesel oil, and also for sea transportation in Black, Caspian and Mediterranean Seas.
Using full-circle rudder propellers as movement and manoeuvre facilities is characteristic feature of vessels of "Armada" type. These vessels have no longitudinal bulkhead in CL.
