Updated fleet of Marine Rescue Service, including 17 vessels designed by Marine Engineering Bureau

On March 27, 2019 head of Marine Rescue Service of RosMorRechFlot Andrey Haustov has presented the updated fleet at the final meeting of the Board of Federal agency of Marine and River Transport. More than 40 new vessels were joined to this fleet since 2010; the average age of the rescue vessels from marine zone was reduced sharply.
 
Some vessels were built due to projects of Marine Engineering Bureau, namely:
 
• multifunctional MPSV06 7 MW rescue ice-breakers "Murman" and "Beringov Prolive" of Icebreaker 6 class (Wismar, Germany);
• multifunctional MPSV07 4 MW rescue vessels "Spasatel Karev", "Spasatel Kavdeykin", "Spasatel Zaborschikov" and "Spasatel Demidov" of ice class (Nevsky Shipyard). One more sister-ship is under construction now;
• multifunctional MPSV12 small-draught arctic rescue tugboats "Bakhtemir", "Kalas", "Beysug" and "Piltun" (Nevsky Shipyard, vessels are under construction);
• multifunctional SDS08 marine diving vessels "Stolniy grad Yaroslavl", "Rostov Velikiy", "Uglich" and "Rybinsk" (Yaroslavl Shipyard);
• multifunctional SDS18 marine diving catamaran vessels "Igor Ilin" (Oka Shipyard);
• TG17 rescue tugboat "Penay" (Oka Shipyard);
• SB02 floating double-sectional berth "PRP-4" (Nizhegorodskiy Teplokhod Shipyard).
 
During the meeting Deputy Minister of Transport - Head of RosMorRechFlot Yuriy Tsvetkov solemnly handed the "Leader of the industry" pennant in the nomination "The best organization providing services in the field of shipping" to the head of Marine Rescue Service of RosMorRechFlot Andrey Haustov.
