Samara Ship Repairing-Constructing Yard "Nefteflot" laid down keel of the third RDB12 hold included dry cargo barge of 4800 t deadweight

On 11.06.2019 Samara Ship Repairing-Constructing Yard "Nefteflot" (Sergey Malovichko is a director) laid down keel of the third RDB12 hold included dry cargo barge of 4800 t deadweight (building number 4106).
 
Shipping Company Petrotanker (St.-Petersburg) is the lessee.
 
RDB12 is a non-self-propelled Volgo-Don Max type river-sea vessel without crew. She has 4 cargo holds, double bottom and double sides, water-tight hatch covers. Horizontal coupling beams are installed aft for automatic coupling lock.
 
Main particulars of the RDB12 dry-cargo barge are as follows (work with classical OT type tug-pushers is foreseen):
 
Overall length is 95.20. m;
Overall breadth is 16.90 m;
Breadth is 16.50 m;
Depth (at middle) is 5.50 m;
Draught maximal is 4.00 m;
Draught DWL is 3.60 m.
 
Class notation of the Russian Maritime Registry of Shipping is K R3-RSN.
 
Vessel has transom ends and raked stempost.
 
Anchor-mooring capstans are arranged fore and aft to provide corresponding operations.
 
Cargo holds equipped by watertight hatch covers of 7500 cub.m. capacity are smooth-walled that provides self-shedding of cargo. The double bottom is designed for distributed load of 7 tons per square meter intensity. Double bottom height is 800 mm at CL and 1000 mm at inner side. Double bottom width is 1650 mm.
 
River deadweight is 4068 t while draught is 3.6 m. Marine deadweight is 4830 t while draught is 4.0 m.
 
Hatch covers are of removable type. Opening and closing of each section is operated with the help of a special frame crane.
 
There are 5 main watertight bulkheads that divide hull for 6 compartments. main deck, inner sides, bottom and tank top have longitudinal framing system. Sides and hull ends have transverse framing system. Transverse frame-spacing is 550 mm in the ends and 660 mm in other places. Longitudinal frame-spacing is 550 mm.
 
RDB12 vessel is equipped by two 1500 kg Hall-type bower anchors and single 1250 kg Hall-type aft anchor. Anchors are kept in hawse with recess.
 
Electric energy intake (400V) from shore source or tow vessel is made through switchboard installed aft. Two groups of acid unserviceable batteries are used for feeding of signal lights; their capacity provides lights work during 20 hours.
 
Keel of the head RDB12 vessel (building No. 002) was laid down 18.04.2019.
