On 18.12.2019 the keel of the head PV24 cargo-passenger vessel for working between Kamchatka ports and port points and also towards Komandorskiye Islands, was laid down (building No. 7001).
FSD "State Customer Management of Maritime Transport Development Programs" is a Customer.
Plan Approval Documentation for the PV24 (NE-020.2) vessel was issued by Marine Engineering Bureau.
Vessel is intended for carriage of 36 passengers, general cargo, containers (including refrigerator ones) between Kamchatka ports and port points and also towards Komandorskiye Islands. Vessel is equipped by cargo crane for providing cargo operations at unequipped shore.
New PV24 concept has enhanced manoeuvrable properties comparing with existing vessels due to thruster and two propellers. Summarized capacity of two holds is of 1405 m3 (208-215 m3 at existing vessels). The vessel is able to transport 27 TEU (18 ones in the holds and 9 ones on the deck). Propulsion reserving is provided by using of double-shaft unit.
Vessel's overall length is 75.36 m, scantling length is 70.84 m, breadth is 13.98 m, depth is 5.50 m.
The following passenger compartments are foreseen onboard: one block de lux cabin with an individual toilet and a bath; three semi-lux c cabins with an individual toilet and a shower; one cabin for mother with child with an individual toilet and a shower. General number of stationary passenger places is of 36.
There are a dining room with a recreation zone, sideboard, lobby and walking areas for passengers.
Medical compartments include single sanitary cabin / isolation ward with an individual toilet and a bath; single stationary cabin with an individual toilet and a shower and an ambulance station.
Vessel's deadweight is about 1357 t at draught 3.70 m.
Cargo crane of 25 t capacity (at outreach less than 16 m) is foreseen for cargo unloading (existing vessels are equipped by 2.5 - 3.5 t cranes).
Class notation of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping is KM  Ice2(hull; power)  AUT3 BWM(T) CONT(deck, cargo hold No.2) DG(pack) Passenger ship.
Main engines' capacity is 2 x 1003 kW. Vessel's speed is 12.0 kn. Vessel's autonomy is 15 days.
Bow thruster's capacity is 185 kW.
Crew is located in four block cabins that includes office and bedroom (master, chief officer, passenger mate, chief engineer); one single cabin (physician) and seven double cabins. All crew cabins have an individual toilet and a shower, General number of stationary crew places is of 19.
