The fourth product tanker 005RST01 prj. "Armada Navigator" was put into operation
On October, 20, 2004 the fourth product tanker "Armada Navigator" (005RST01 prj.) was put into operation for Palmali group. Vessel's deadweight is of 6470 tons. Vessel's Russian Maritime Register of Shipping class notation is of KM  LU1  II A1.
Vessel's project is designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau (MEB).
Vessel's keel was laid down on 01.02.04 at "ADA" shipyard (Tuzla). "ADA" shipyard was purchased and reconstructed by Palmali group.
It's interesting to note that vessel was launched on 30.08.04 without rudder propellers, which were mounted later afloat. Ability of mounting and demounting afloat is an important advantage of rudder propellers.
