In the middle of May, the components of the wind turbines, the main equipment from the German port of Bracke and the blades from the Polish port of Swinoujscie, were sent to the Caspian Sea region on the "Neva-Leader 4" of RSD49 project and were successfully delivered in mid-June to the port of Aktau ( Kazakhstan). In total, during the voyage transported equipment with a total capicity of more than 6300 cubic meters. m (freight tons), the length of each blade was 66.4 meters.

Based on the needs of the customer, the optimal tonnage of the sea dry-cargo vessel was selected, which made it possible to combine the amount of cargo as functionally as possible, taking into account the useful capicity of cargo holds. This approach helped to reduce the costs of the cargo owner for the transportation of a unit of cargo.

Project transportation of oversized cargo is one of the priority areas of the Volga Shipping Company.

Dry-cargo vessel of RSD49 project "Neva-Leader 4" was commissioned on 15.07.13.

Nevsky Shipyard is a builder (general director Evgeniy Kuznetsov).

RSD49 prj. is designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau.

RSD49 vessels refer to the "Volga-Don Max" type due to MEB internal classification. They have maximum possible dimensions for Volga-Don canal. Vessels of the series can be operated for transportations of general, bulk, timber, grain and large-sized cargoes, dangerous goods of 1.4S, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.1, 8, 9 classes of IMDG Code and cargoes of category B of BC Code.
