The fifth product tanker "General Azi Aslanov" of "Armada" type (005RST01 prj.) was put into operation
On January, 25, 2005 at "ADA" shipyard (Tuzla, Turkey) the fifth product tanker "General Azi Aslanov" of "Armada" type (005RST01 prj.) was put into operation for Palmali group. Vessel's deadweight is of 6470 tons. Vessel's keel was laid down on 19.05.2004, she was launched on 19.12.2004. Launching was carried out without rudder propellers that were mounted afloat.
As well as first four vessels of the series, tanker will be operated for river-sea going transportations of crude oil and oil-products, and also for sea transportation in Black, Caspian and Mediterranean Seas.
There are following character features of the project: availability of advanced trunk, using full-circle rudder propellers as movement and manoeuvre facilities. These vessels have no longitudinal bulkhead in CL.
