Marine Engineering Bureau won the nomination "Fleet renovation 2009" of National maritime rate of Ukraine
 According to the National maritime rate of Ukraine for 2009 made by "Ports of Ukraine" Publishing Marine Engineering Bureau won the nomination "Fleet renovation 2009" as designing bureau, projects of which have been used for building most of all vessel during last year.
There were built and put into operation 18 new vessels and 6 ones after large re-equipment according to the MEB projects during 2009. Summarized deadweight of vessels put into operation is of 196 000 tons.
Vessels were built at shipyards in Russia (4 dry-cargo vessels, 3 tankers, 1 ice-breaking tug), in Ukraine (3 dry-cargo vessels and 2 ferries), in China (4 bulk-carriers) and in Turkey (1 dry-cargo vessel).
Re-equipment were carried out at shipyards in Ukraine (3 vessels), in Russia (2 vessels) and in Latvia (1 vessel).
Eight earlier launched vessel of different projects are being completed afloat.
