Palmali group opened 2011 river navigation


On March 28, 2011 first five tug-n-barge trains with oil-barges of "Paloil" type (prj. 004ROB05) with deadweight is of 4324 tons each left Rostov-on-Don for Tat'yanka terminal in Volgograd.
 
Thereby Palmali group (Mubariz Mansimov is a president) opened river navigation on Russian internal waterways.
 
Project 004ROB05 of "Paloil" type barges is designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau (MEB).
 
Vessel has double bottom and double sides. She is assigned for transportation of oil-products (masout transportation first of all), but doesn't have any restrictions for flash point of transportable cargo.
 
She fully satisfies MARPOL requirements.
 
The vessel is equipped by submerged hydraulic pumps and hydroelectric power plant with autonomous power-module; cargo tanks are smooth-wall (deck framing is oriented outwards).
 
Five non self-propelled tankers of "Paloil" type has been successfully operated since 2003-2004 for river-sea going transportation of masout and other oil-products from Russian river ports to the mouth port and reloading terminals in the Kerch Straits region.
 
Barges satisfy dimensions of the Volga-Don Canal and Volga-Baltic Way when they are pushed by "OT" type tug-boats of prjs. 428,428.1 .
 
Overall length of 004ROB05 prj. vessel is of 93 m, breadth is of 16.5 m, depth is of 5.0 m.
 
Vessel's Russian Maritime Register of shipping (RS) class notation is of K IIISP tanker (ESP).
 
Barges were built in 2003-2004 on Volgograd shipyard.
