The lead vessel of "Kaspian Express" type (003RSD04 prj.) was launched
On April, 10 at "Cheksan" shipyard (Tuzla, Turkey) the lead dry-cargo vessel of RS class KM  LU1 II A3 class notation with deadweight about 3675 tons of was launched for "ALBROS" shipping company (Raim Alekperov is a general director).
Vessel's project 003RSD04 is designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau (MEB).
The character feature is box-shaped single hold with sizes of 59x13.2x6.4 m, while designed vessel's length is of 85 m.
bVessel is destined for work at Russian ports of Azov and Caspian Seas with possibility sailing through the Volga-Don canal. The vessel is a symbiosis product of the European coasters and Russian river-sea sailing conditions. Hatch covers are of "removable" type (with gantry crane).
Vessel's keel was laid down in July, 2003. It is supposed to launch the second vessel of the series in September of this year.
It is very pleasant that vessel's launching concurred with 60th anniversary of setting Odessa free from German-fascist invaders (April, 10, 1944).
