Volgograd shipyard launched dry-cargo vessel "Ilyas Efendiev" of "Palmali Trader" type (006RSD05 prj.) for "Palmali" group
On July, 15, 2005 launching ceremony of third in the series multi-purpose dry-cargo motorship "Ilyas Efendiev" (006RSD05 prj.) with deadweight of 6970 tons with two full-circle rudder propellers was carried out at Volgograd shipyard.
The series of six vessels is being built for Palmali group.
Vessel's project is designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau (MEB).
Vessel's keel was laid down on 15.12.04. She was launched on 15.07.05.
This vessel is the biggest among Russian river-sea going dry-cargo vessels which is assigned for transportation of general, bulk, timber, grain and large-sized cargoes, ISO containers, dangerous goods. Total cargo holds capacity is of 11400 cub. m. Sea deadweight is of 6970 tons, deadweight is of 4580 tons with river draught of 3.60 m.
First two vessels "Heidar Aliev" and "Palmali Voyager" of the series are successfully operated in Mediterranean and Black Seas. They transport grain and other cargo.
