Palmali group accepted the third dry-cargo vessel of "Geydar Aliev" type (006RSD05 prj.) "Ilyas Efendiev" into operation

On August, 14, 2005 Palmali group (Mubariz Mansimov is a president of Palmali group) accepted the multi-purpose dry-cargo vessel "Ilyas Efendiev" with deadweight of 6970 tons into operation at Volgograd shipyard. Vessel's Russian Maritime Register of Shipping class notation is of KM LU1 II A1.
 
The vessel is the third one in the series of 006RSD05 prj. of "Geydar Aliev" type.
 
Vessel's project is designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau (MEB).
 
Vessel's keel was laid down on 15.12.04. She was launched on 15.07.05 and was put into operation on 14.08.05.
 
Palmali group ordered six vessels with full-circle rudder propellers of this project to the Volgograd shipyard in total.
 
This vessel is the biggest among Russian dry-cargo vessels which satisfies Volga-Don canal dimensions. The vessel is assigned for transportation of general, bulk, timber, grain and large-sized cargoes, ISO containers, dangerous goods. Sailing regions are Mediterranean, Black, Baltic, White, North Seas, including voyages around Europe and to Irish Sea in winter.
 
Total cargo holds capacity is of 7833 cub. m. Deadweight is of 6970 tons in sea, deadweight is of 4580 tons with river draught of 3.60 m.
