"ALBROS" shipping company accepted the third vessel of the "Caspian Express" type (003RSD04 prj.) "Ulus Sky" into operation

On August, 10, 2005 "ALBROS" shipping company (Raim Alekperov is a general director) accepted the third multi-purpose dry-cargo vessel with deadweight about 3740 tons of "Caspian Express" type into operation.
 
Vessel's name is "Ulus Sky".
 
Vessel was built at "Cheksan" shipyard (Tuzla, Turkey). acceptance certificate was signed on July, 27.
 
Vessel's Russian Maritime Register of Shipping class notation is of KM LU1 IISP A1.
 
Vessel's project 003RSD04 is designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau (MEB).
 
Vessel is destined for work with draught of 4.1-4.5 m at Russian ports of Azov and Caspian Seas with possibility sailing through on the Volga-Don canal. The vessel is a symbiosis product of the European coasters and Russian river-sea sailing conditions. It allows to transport project large-sized cargoes from European ports to Caspian ones (see loading example in photos).
 
The single vessel's hold is box-shaped with sizes of 59x13.2x6.4 (designed vessel length is of 85 m). Hatch covers are of "multifolding" type. Capacity of single-screw engine with variable-pitch propeller is of 1290 kw and shaft generator capacity is of 216 kWt. Cruising speed is of 10.5 kn.
 
Vessel's keel was laid down on 11.11.04 and she was launched on 23.04.05.
