The ninth 005RST01 prj. tanker of "Armada Leader" type was launched for Palmali group
 On October, 30 2005 at "ADA" shipyard (Tuzla, Turkey) the ninth product tanker "Lenkoran" of "Armada Lider" type (005RST01 prj.) with two full-circle rudder propellers was launched for Palmali group. Vessel's deadweight is of 6500 tons.
The vessel is the sixth tanker which was built at "ADA" shipyard (there are 9 vessels in the series in total).
Vessel's keel was laid down on 18.04.2005, she was launched on 30.10.2005.
Vessel's Russian Maritime Register of Shipping class notation is of KM  LU1  II A1.
Vessel's project is designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau (MEB).
Tanker is assigned for river-sea going transportations of crude oil, masout, diesel petroleum and other oil products, and also for sea transportation in Baltic, North, Black, Caspian and Mediterranean Seas.
Using full-circle rudder propellers as movement and manoeuvre facilities, using submersible pumps in cargo and ballast systems, full absence of a framing in cargo tanks are characteristic features vessels of "Armada" type. These vessels have no longitudinal bulkhead in CL.
Launching was carried out without rudder propellers, which will be mounted during fitting-out. Supposed fitting-out duration is 4 weeks.
The previous vessel of the series "Chingiz Mustafaev" was accepted into operation by Palmali group on 04.10.2005.
