"Palmali" group accepted into operation dry-cargo vessel "Nahkichevan" of "Palmali Trader" type ( 006RSD05 prj.)

On November, 10, 2005 "Palmali" group (Mubariz Mansimov is a president) accepted from Volgograd shipyard, which is included in group of the companies "Marine and oil-and-gas projects" (MOP), multi-purpose dry-cargo vessel "NAKHICHEVAN" with deadweight of 6970 tons. Vessel's Russian Maritime Register of Shipping class notation is of KM LU1 II A1.
 
This vessel is the fourth in the series of "Heidar Aliev" type (006RSD05 prj.).
 
Vessel's project is designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau (MEB).
 
Vessel's keel was laid down on 24.12.04. She was launched on 07.10.05. Documents were issued by Russian Maritime Register of Shipping on 08.11.05. Vessel was put into operation on 10.11.05.
 
In all "Palmali" group ordered Volgograd shipyard seven vessels of this project, with full-circle rudder propellers and increased capacity of holds.
 
This is the biggest dry-cargo vessel among Russian dry-cargo vessels which is satisfied dimensions for Volga-Don canal ("Volga-Don Max" class). This vessel is assigned for transportation of general, bulk, timber, grain and large-sized cargoes, containers, dangerous goods. Sailing regions are Mediterranean, Black, Baltic, White, North Seas, including voyages around Europe and to Irish Sea in winter.
 
Summarized capacity of cargo holds is of 11400 cubic m. Maximal sea deadweight is of 6970 tons. In the river with draught of 3.60 m is of 4580 tons.
