Three new Chinese dry-cargo vessels were put into operation for Odessa company
  
On February 23, 2006 "INTRESCO" Odessa shipping company (Anatoliy Yakovenko is a technical director) accepted into operation three dry-cargo vessels "Saxona", "Scala", "Sparta" with deadweight of 5070, 6826 and 10315 tons correspondingly. These vessels were built in China and were modified by the Marine Engineering Bureau (MEB) projects.
Originally vessels were built under Marine Administration of China (community ZC) supervision for realization of cabotage sea voyages between Chinese ports.
After re-equipment these vessels gained I restricted sailing area, ice category and Russian Maritime Register of Shipping conventional documents.
Vessels are assumed for transportation of general and bulk cargoes, including grain, timber, metal-roll, coal.
1. Motorship "Sparta" has following characteristics after DCV25 project fitting-out:
- Russian Maritime Register of Shipping class notation is of KM  LU1  I,
- overall length is of 134.00 m,
- breadth is of 19.0 m,
- depth is of 9.20 m,
- deadweight is of 10315 tons when draught is of 6.79 m,
- total capacity of three holds is of 13924 cub.m,
- container capacity is of 486 TEU,
- speed is of 11 knots while main engine capacity is of 2500 kWt,
- autonomy is of 10 days,
- crew is of 15 people.
Vessel's "Sparta" keel was laid down on 15.06.04. She was launched on 20.09.04, and was put into operation on 23.02.06.
2. Motorship "Scala" has following characteristics after DCV26 project fitting-out:
- Russian Maritime Register of Shipping class notation is of KM LU2 I,
- overall length is of 115.10 m,
- breadth is of 17.20 m,
- depth is of 9.20 m,
- deadweight is of 6826 tons when draught is of 5.68 m,
- total capacity of four holds is of 9057 cub.m,
- speed is of 11 knots during main engine capacity is of 2000 kWt,
- autonomy is of 10 days,
- crew is of 15 people.
Vessel's "Scala" keel was laid down on 15.10.04. She was launched on 17.08.05. Vessel was put into operation on 23.02.06.
3. Motorship "Saxona" has following characteristics after DCV27 project fitting-out:
- Russian Maritime Register of Shipping class notation is of KM LU2 I,
- overall length is of 99.80 m,
- breadth is of 15.80 m,
- depth is of 7.10 m,
- deadweight is of 5070 tons when draught is of 5.52 m,
- total capacity of four holds is of 6673 cub.m,
- speed is of 11 knots during main engine capacity is of 1765 kWt,
- autonomy is of 10 days, crew is of 14 people.
Vessel's "Saxona" keel was laid down on 08.11.04. She was launched on 28.07.05 and was put into operation on 23.02.06.
