The ninth tanker "LENKARAN" of "Armada" type is operated by Palmali group

On April, 07, 2006 at "ADA" shipyard (Tuzla, Turkey) the ninth product tanker "LENKARAN" of "Armada" type (005RST01 prj.) with full-circle rudder propellers was launched for Palmali group. Vessel's deadweight is of 6500 tons.
 
The vessel is the six tanker of "Armada" type, which was built at "ADA" shipyard (there are 9 vessels in the series in total). "ADA" shipyard was purchased and reconstructed by Palmali group.
 
Vessel's keel was laid down on 18.04.2005, she was launched on 30.10.2005. Vessel was put into operation on 07.04.2006.
 
Vessel's Russian Maritime Register of Shipping class notation is of KM LU1 II A1.
 
Port of registry is Taganrog, Russian Federation.
 
Vessel's project is designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau (MEB).
 
This type tankers are operated on river-sea going transportations of crude oil, masout, diesel oil and other petroleum products, and also for sea transportation in Baltic, North, Black, Caspian and Mediterranean Seas.
 
Using full-circle rudder propellers as movement and manoeuvre facilities, using submersible pumps in cargo and ballast systems, full absence of a framing in cargo tanks are characteristic features vessels of "Armada" type. These vessels have no longitudinal bulkhead in CL.
