Brief totals of Marine Engineering Bureau 2013 work: 30 new vessels were built


30 new vessels (designed by Marine Engineering) with total deadweight of 163000 tons were built and put into operation in 2013, as follows:
 
2 multifunctional 4MWt salvage vessels of unrestricted navigation area with high ice class Arc 5 of MPSV07 project built by Nevskiy shipyard. They together with sistership "Spasatel Karev" (was put into operation in 2012) are the largest and the most sophisticated vessels built for the budget means due to the Federal Purpose Program for the development of RF transport system (2010-2015);
 
11 "super fat" product-chemical/oil tankers of RST27 project (7 ones built at the Oka Shipyard, 3 ones built at the Kherson Shipyard and single vessel built at the Krasnoe Sormovo Shipyard);
 
5 multipurpose dry cargo vessels of RSD49 project (Nevskiy shipyard);
 
3 product tankers of RST25 project (Zelenodolsk Shipyard, Brothers Nobel Shipyard);
 
2 multipurpose buoy laying vessels for Russian inland waterways of BLV02 project (Nizhegorodskiy Teplokhod Shipyard);
 
1 car-passenger ferry for 260 passengers and 43 automobiles for the line Crimea - Caucasus of CNF12 project (Yuzhniy Sevastopol Shipyard);
 
1 vessel of PV07 project for fulfilling functions of control and communication at Black Sea-Azov basin while providing marine search and rescue operations, as well as during regional and international exercises, marine patrolling of Russian ports water of the Black and Azov Seas ("Hidrodinamik" Shipyard, Tuzla, Turkey);
 
1 product-chemical/oil tanker of RST05 project (Don-Kassens Shipyard, Aksay);
 
1 product tanker of RST22M project (Beshiktash Shipyard, Yalova, Turkey);
 
1 multipurpose dry cargo vessel of RSD18 project (China);
 
1 marine dry cargo platform vessel of DCV52 project (Yuzhniy Sevastopol Shipyard);
 
1 multipurpose dry cargo vessel of RSD58 project (Kherson Shipyard).
 
Vessels were built at:
 
• Russia - 12 tankers, 5 dry cargo vessels, 2 salvage vessels, 2 buoy-crafts (total 21 vessels);
• Ukraine - 3 tankers, 2 dry cargo vessels, 1 car-passenger ferry (total 6 vessels);
• Turkey - 1 tanker, 1 auxiliary vessel;
• China - 1 dry cargo vessel.
 
In addition, in 2013 Bureau designed projects of passenger and cargo-passenger vessels for Far East, Black Sea and Russian inland waterways due to order of Rosmorrechflot.
 
Specific place occupies a socially significant project of new generation automobile-train-passenger icebreaker ferryboat of unrestricted navigation area for line Vanino-Kholmsk (CNF11CPD prj.). The defence of this project was held on 31.10.2013 in the Maritime and River Fleet Federal Agency at the Meeting of Expert Council. Head of this Agency Mr. Alexander Davydenko was a chairman of the meeting; Head of State Politics Department of the Maritime and River Transport Sphere at RF Ministry of Transport Mr. Konstanin Palnikov took place in the meeting. Expert Council approved the technical design of the new generation ferry for building.
