Marine Engineering Bureau won the nomination "Fleet renovation 2013" of National Maritime Rate of Ukraine

Marine Engineering Bureau won the nomination "Fleet renovation 2013 as native ng bureau, projects of which have been used for building most of all vessels at post-Soviet countries during last year, according to the National Maritime Rate of Ukraine for 2013 made by "Ports of Ukraine" publishing house. National Maritime Rate was carried out for the seventh time.
 
30 vessels (designed by Marine Engineering Bureau) with summarized deadweight of 163000 tons were built and put into operation during 2013. 12 tankers, 5 dry cargo vessels, 2 salvage and 2 buoy crafts (totally 21 ones) were built in Russia; 3 tankers, 2 dry cargo vessels and 1 automobile-passenger ferry boat (totally 6 ones) were built in Ukraine.
 
Two tankers namely "SVL Liberty" and "Almetyevsk", designed by Marine Engineering Bureau (projects RST27 and RST25 correspondingly) are included into the list of 50 best vessels (Significant Ships of 2013) of different purposes, types and dimensions (from cruise liners till super tankers) which was nominated by the British Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA, the oldest worldwide shipbuilder society).
 
It must be pointed that 2 vessels namely "VF Tanker-1" and "Neva Leader-1" ", designed by Marine Engineering Bureau (projects RST27 and RSD49 correspondingly) were included into the list of the best vessels of 2012.
