The BC14 bulk-carrier "Grumant" (23700 DWT and ice category of Arc4) that belong to Murmansk Shipping Company age going to work to Sabetta
  
According to the press-department of OJSE "Murmansk Shipping Company" report BC14 prj. bulk-carrier "Grumant" (with Arctic ice category of Arc4) should be work under 3-years contract signed by OJSE "Murmansk Shipping Company" and OJSE "Yamal SPG" in order to fulfill marine cargo transportation to Sabetta.
BC14 project was designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau (conceptual design; calculated, general-projected and hull parts of classification project) and China Design University (equipment, rigging and workshop drawings).
Due to the contract the total capacity of cargo transportation should be about 1.5 million tons. Contract includes a wide list of transported cargoes for building and equipping the South-Tambeysk condensed gas field.
One can notice that vessels have high ice class and are capable to work at extremely low temperatures.
"OJSE "Murmansk Shipping Company" is a partner of OJSE "Yamal SPG" for cargo delivery; concluded strategic agreement should provide timely all-year cargo delivery building materials for OJSE "Yamal SPG". OJSE "Murmansk Shipping Company" should get diversification of transport routes" - was told in the report. In accordance with estimations done by specialists from OJSE "Murmansk Shipping Company", 15 company's vessels should be used simultaneously be at some moments month by month.
The bulk-carrier "Grumant" as built at "Cxengxi Shipyard" shipyard in JianYyin town (Jiangsu province, China).
Vessel's overall length is of 180.50 m, breadth is of 22.86 m, depth is of 13.50 m, Summer Freeboard draught is of 9.91 m.
Vessel has 7 holds, double bottom and double sides. She is assigned for transportation bulk, grain, general cargoes, un-liquefied ore concentrate and dangerous goods of 1, 1.4S, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 classes of IMDG Code and cargoes of category B of BC Code.
